On May 23, 2010, the SCJ India District celebrated the profession of Final Vows of Brother Sajeevan Marcelin, SCJ. The ceremony took place at Dehon Bhavan, Kumbalanghy, Kerala, at 10am. The Final Vows were received by Fr. Kusmaryadi, SCJ, India District Superior.
Br. Sajeevan was born in Puluvila-Trivandrum on January 7, 1980. He began as a candidate at Dehon Bhavan seminary, in Kumbalanghy. After studying for his BA at St. Antony’s College, Aluva, he entered the novitiate and took First Vows on May 7, 2003. After his regency experience in North India for one year, Br. Sajeevan joined the theology program in Janampeta, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. Then, for 3 years he studied Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Technology at Kalamassery, Kerala.
Br. Sajeevan is now assigned to the SCJ Philippine District, where he is studying for a degree at the Institute of Consecrated Life, in Manila.
